Tip
The Status column on the Orders page names the store each order came from, right above the status chip.
A lead on CLSD passes through up to four stages as it ages. This article describes each stage as you meet it as a buyer, and where to buy at each one.
Premier
Premier leads are fresh. Our ads generate them and they are delivered to a Premier order. You pick the date your order starts, the leads arrive spread over time, and if you pause, the schedule waits for you. See Placing an order and choosing a start date and How leads arrive over time.
A Premier lead is exclusive to you for the period in the Exclusivity Policy, measured from the day it is assigned to your order.
Premier Overflow
When our ads produce more leads than Premier orders need, the extras land in the Premier Overflow store. They are real insurance inquiries that were never delivered to another agent through a Premier order.
The store sells them by age. The age bands appear as chips above the map, each one a range of days, with its price beside it when that band is priced. Pick a band, pick your states, and build a cart. See Buying Premier Overflow leads. Once you buy a lead here it is exclusive to you for the period the Policy states for that band.
The Warehouse
Leads that age past the last Premier Overflow band move to the Warehouse. These are aged leads at deep discounts, and the longer they have sat, the less they cost. Every lead is still a real inquiry from a consumer who asked about coverage. It has just been in inventory a while.
The Warehouse works the same way, with its own age bands picking up where Premier Overflow's end. Because the leads already exist, buying them sends them out on the purchase itself. See Buying aged leads in the Warehouse and How aged lead pricing works. If you want a steady supply, there are Weekly aged lead subscriptions. Each Warehouse band carries its own exclusivity period, stated in the Policy.
The Gym
A lead that ages past the last Warehouse band leaves the stores and lands in The Sales Gym. The Gym is a membership rather than a purchase. You work as many leads as you like at a normal working pace, with a daily download cap.
Important
Gym leads are not exclusive. Other members may work the same lead you are working.
In the sidebar, The Gym sits under Stores with a Soon badge until it opens. See The Gym.
How the stages connect
Note
A lead moves forward by age and never back.
A lead that was never delivered passes through Premier Overflow on its way to the Warehouse. One that was delivered to an order skips Premier Overflow and comes back later, in the Warehouse. On the Orders page the Status column shows Premier, Overflow, or Warehouse above the status chip, so you can tell which store each order came from.
Exclusivity is separate from the stage. While a lead is exclusive to one customer, we do not sell it to anyone else, whatever stage it is in. When the period ends, the lead may be offered to other customers through the Warehouse. A lead you bought stays in your account to work, and nothing you received is taken back. For what that promise covers and what it does not, read What exclusivity means.
Frequently asked questions
Can a lead move back to an earlier stage?
No. A lead moves forward by age and never back. One that was never delivered passes through Premier Overflow on its way to the Warehouse, and one that ages past the last Warehouse band leaves the stores for The Gym.
I bought a lead and it has since aged into the Warehouse. Do I lose it?
No. A lead you bought stays in your account to work, and nothing you received is taken back. Once its exclusivity period ends it may be offered to other customers through the Warehouse, but that does not take it away from you.
Why does a delivered lead skip Premier Overflow?
Premier Overflow holds leads that were never delivered to another agent through a Premier order. A lead that was delivered to an order skips that store. It may come back later in the Warehouse, after its exclusivity period ends.
How do I tell which store an order came from?
Open the Orders page. The Status column shows Premier, Overflow, or Warehouse above the status chip for each order.
